Head of Platform & Intelligence
Role: Head of Platform & Intelligence
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Target Start Date: May 26, 2026
Location: Remote/Hybrid (Southeast U.S. preferred), Georgia (strong preference), Open to Other Regions within the U.S.
Company: RevaTerra - the world’s first AI-powered bioenergy company
Vision: Where Waste Streams Become Value Streams
Mission: To Turn What’s Abundant into What’s Essential
About RevaTerra
RevaTerra is building the AI-powered platform that transforms forestry and agricultural residuals into high-performance renewable fuel, creating a circular supply chain. Our patent-pending AI platform optimizes biomass chemistry, feedstock sourcing, and process control to create a high-energy, carbon-neutral fuel. We’re combining sustainability, energy, and technology in a way that requires someone who can own the intelligence layer that makes it all work.
Role Summary
The Head of Platform & Intelligence will partner directly with the CTO to scale the data and systems that power RevaTerra's core operations, from supply chain optimization to carbon and emissions reporting. The ideal candidate will be equal parts strategist and builder: setting the platform roadmap one day and hands-on in the data the next.
What You’ll Own
· Architect and evolve RevaTerra's platform, including agent-based workflows and data pipelines.
· Build and maintain energy, carbon, and sustainability reporting infrastructure, including emissions factor application, portfolio-level aggregations, and alignment with environmental standards and frameworks such as GHG Protocol, GRESB, TCFD, and CDP.
· Design API-based data ingestion pipelines that pull utility, supply chain, and operational data into a unified platform.
· Deploy AI agents and automation to streamline internal workflows, surface insights for stakeholders, and reduce manual overhead across operations and reporting.
· Define KPIs, dashboards, and analytics tooling that give leadership real-time visibility into platform performance, supply chain health, and sustainability outcomes.
· Partner with the CTO on technical strategy, vendor evaluation, and build-vs-buy decisions as the platform scales.
· Lead cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and forestry partners to ensure the platform reflects real-world supply chain dynamics.
What We’re Looking For
· 3-7 years of experience across product management, data analytics, or platform engineering, ideally with exposure to sustainability, energy, or carbon reporting.
· Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Python, and modern BI tools (Power BI, Fabric, or similar). You've built data pipelines, not just consumed dashboards.
· Working knowledge of sustainability data workflows: utility data ingestion, emissions factor conversion, building-level benchmarking, and disclosure.
· Experience designing or deploying AI agents and automation (Copilot Studio, Claude, LangChain, or equivalent). You understand what agentic AI can and can't do today.
· Comfort with API-based architectures and data integration patterns.
· Strong first-principles thinking and the ability to learn new domains fast. RevaTerra operates at the intersection of forestry, energy markets, and climate tech, and no single background covers all of it.
Nice to Have
· Familiarity with ENERGY STAR, LEED, or real estate portfolio sustainability reporting.
· Background in circular economy, biomass, bioenergy, or forestry supply chains.
· Certifications in Azure AI, Power BI, Scrum, or Security+.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $115,000–$135,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location, plus equity along with medical and dental coverage. In addition, we offer flexible work arrangements, unlimited PTO, paid holidays, a mobile phone stipend, and a one-time home office setup stipend for remote employees.
Why RevaTerra
You won't be optimizing ad clicks. You'll be building the platform that turns forestry and agricultural residual biomass into clean energy, creating real circular-economy value where waste once piled up. If you want your technical work to drive measurable sustainability outcomes and reshape how we think about biomass, this is your role.
