Senior QA Engineer | ESGenius! - The Sustainability OS

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of quality across ESGenius!, a leading ESG & sustainability platform used by top organizations in Greece and internationally.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and performance of a complex SaaS platform that combines ESG data, climate analytics, and AI-driven functionalities.

This role goes beyond traditional testing — you will contribute to debugging, define QA processes, and help establish a structured quality framework across the product lifecycle, working closely with developers, product teams, and ESG experts.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across the platform

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

• Identify, document, and track bugs; work closely with developers to support debugging and resolution

• Take ownership of product quality across releases and features

• Contribute to the setup and continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies

• Ensure data accuracy and validation across ESG calculations and reporting outputs

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to understand requirements and edge cases

• Support release cycles, ensuring readiness and stability of deployments

• Participate in defining quality standards and best practices across the platform

• Contribute to test automation strategy (nice to have)

 

Tech Stack / Tools

• Web-based applications (SaaS platforms)

• API testing (Postman or similar tools)

• Bug tracking & task management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)

• Basic SQL (for data validation)

• Test case management tools

• Automation frameworks (nice to have)

 

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing / similar roles

• Strong experience in manual testing of web-based applications

• Proven experience in bug tracking, debugging collaboration, and issue resolution workflows

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies

• Experience working closely with developers in agile environments

• Ability to understand complex product logic and data flows

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation

• Strong attention to detail and structured thinking

• Problem-solving mindset with ownership mentality

• Excellent command of English (written & spoken)

 

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and product environments

• Exposure to data-heavy platforms or analytics systems

• Basic understanding of APIs and integrations

• Familiarity with ESG / Sustainability frameworks (CSRD, ESRS, GRI)

• Experience in startup or scale-up environments
