Business Development Executive – Enterprise SaaS (Climate / Data / Sustainability)

About the Opportunity


We’re partnering with a fast-growing climate-tech company building a data-driven platform focused on carbon, land, and climate risk modelling.

With a strong foundation of existing enterprise clients and increasing regulatory demand across Australia, the business is now scaling its commercial function and looking to hire a Business Development Executive to drive new growth.


This is a high-impact role with a clear pathway for financial reward (with equity offered) and career progression. You will be working directly with senior leadership and influencing go-to-market strategy.


The Role


This is a new business–focused, enterprise sales role, targeting organisations across financial services, insurance, legal, asset management and more.


You will:

  • Drive new Client acquisition across enterprise clients
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (CTO, CDO, ESG / Sustainability leaders)
  • Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles (discovery → solutioning → close)
  • Work closely with leadership on GTM strategy and market positioning
  • Leverage an existing client base, but primarily focus on new revenue generation
  • Manage pipeline and deal progression


Experience required:

  • Proven experience in enterprise SaaS / DaaS / data platform sales
  • Track record of new business generation and closing high-value deals
  • Experience selling into large enterprise clients and senior stakeholders
  • Exposure to climate, ESG, fintech, reg-tech, legal-tech, or data-led solutions (highly desirable)
