Role: Advisor Sales – Carbon Markets (India)
We are looking for a dynamic Manager to lead carbon project development and partnerships across South Asia. This role is ideal for someone passionate about climate action and experienced in navigating carbon markets, standards, and project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive development and execution of removal projects across biochar, agriculture, and forestry.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders developers, registries, and buyers .
- Oversee due diligence, validation, and verification for high-integrity carbon credit projects.
- Lead and mentor a growing team of analysts and associates.
- Lead end-to-end management of the carbon credit sales process from project onboarding and verification to marketplace listing, buyer engagement, and credit retirement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in carbon markets, environmental finance, or climate policy.
- Strong network across carbon credit buyers, sellers, and standard bodies.
- Deep knowledge of methodologies (Verra, GS , CDM) and experience with removal credit projects.
- Strategic mindset with excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- End to End managment of carbon credit selling process.
