EPC Project Manager
Reporting to the EPC Portfolio Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of EPC projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, budget, schedule, quality and HSE requirements. You will coordinate all project stakeholders, from design and procurement through construction and handover to Operations & Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development & Planning
- Assess technical feasibility and project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and support budget preparation and investment approvals.
- Define technical specifications for RFQs, contracts and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate design activities with engineering teams.
- Support procurement and subcontractor selection processes.
Project Execution & Control
- Develop and maintain project schedules (MS Project).
- Manage project budgets, cost control, cash flow and revenue performance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Ensure material availability according to project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, quality, environmental and HSE requirements.
- Oversee site activities through to commissioning and handover.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop project teams.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching and development discussions.
- Foster a collaborative, safety-driven and results-oriented culture.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in EPC, construction or infrastructure project management.
- Experience in PV plants, substations or renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
- PMP certification or Project Management qualification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project controls and HSE requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
- Valid driver's license.
