Clean Energy Rotation Program (Entry-Level)
Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience
Type: Full-time | Two-year rotational program
About us
We are a renewable energy company that develops, builds, owns and operates clean energy projects across the United States, with a portfolio spanning utility-scale solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS). As a long-term owner-operator, our teams carry projects from the earliest site studies through decades of operation. From our New York office, this program develops the people we expect to lead that work in the years ahead.
The program
This is a two-year, full-time rotational position for early-career professionals who want to understand the whole clean energy business before choosing where to specialize. You will complete three eight-month rotations across our core functions, shaped around your strengths and interests:
- Development: siting, permitting, interconnection and the commercial groundwork that turns a promising site into a buildable project
- Engineering & Construction: technical design, contractor coordination and delivering projects in the field
- Finance & Asset Management: investment analysis, project finance and the commercial performance of our operating portfolio
- At the end of the program you move into a permanent role on the team where you have shown the strongest fit, taking with you a network and a company-wide perspective most professionals need a decade to build.
What you will do
- Work as a full member of each team, with real deliverables and genuine ownership from your first week
- Contribute to live projects through analysis, modeling, applications, technical reviews and site visits
- Present your work and findings to senior leadership at the close of each rotation
- Learn from experienced developers, engineers and financiers, supported by a dedicated mentor throughout
- Develop the cross-functional fluency that accelerates careers in this industry
What we are looking for
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business or a related field
- A demonstrated interest in clean energy and the transition to a decarbonized grid
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, spreadsheets and learning new tools
- Clear communication and the confidence to work with colleagues across every part of the business
- Adaptability: three rotations mean three new teams, new problems and steep learning curves
- Authorization to work in the United States
- No prior energy experience is required. Internships, research or campus involvement that demonstrate initiative are a plus. We hire for aptitude and attitude.
What we offer
- $75,000 - $95,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Hybrid working from our New York office
- A structured two-year program with a dedicated mentor and visibility to senior leadership
- Guaranteed permanent placement on successful completion
- Health, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, and generous PTO
- Relocation support for candidates moving to New York
- A front-row seat to every part of a company building America's clean energy infrastructure
