We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who can lead engineering activities for CBG and bioenergy projects and drive technical excellence across project execution.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Noida. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machines, utilizing computer-aided design software, and contributing to research and development efforts. The role also involves managing engineering projects, analyzing technical data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of bioenergy-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and mentor a team of engineers for the successful design, engineering, implementation, and delivery of CBG projects as Engineering In-Charge while ensuring compliance with contract specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
✅ Define clear engineering targets and timelines aligned with overall project schedules.
✅ Optimize project costs by identifying efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions without compromising safety or quality.
✅ Conduct technical closure of plant equipment prior to procurement to ensure systems meet operational, performance, and safety requirements.
✅ Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical quotations, conduct technical comparisons, and prepare technical annexures for purchase orders.
✅ Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and drawings including mechanical and civil drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
✅ Provide technical support during the pre-bid stage by developing preliminary engineering designs, calculations, and technical solutions.
✅ Collaborate with the business development team to prepare technical documentation for proposals and ensure alignment with client requirements.
✅ Drive development of new technologies and engineering improvements to enhance operational performance, sustainability, and energy efficiency of bio-compressed gas plants.
✅ Identify and implement process optimization opportunities to improve plant efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
✅ Coordinate with consultants, procurement teams, vendors, site teams, clients, and other stakeholders to align engineering solutions with project objectives.
✅ Participate in technical discussions and client meetings to resolve queries and ensure alignment with project expectations.
✅ Standardize engineering documentation, technical workflows, and design processes to maintain consistency and quality across projects.
✅ Optimize drawing formats and technical specifications to improve project execution efficiency and reduce engineering errors.
✅ Prepare and manage engineering reports for internal and external stakeholders, including project progress reports, technical performance indicators, and resource utilization reports.
? Key Skills & Experience
✔ 13–15 years of experience in CBG, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, or similar industrial projects
✔ Strong experience in engineering leadership and project execution
✔ Expertise in plant equipment engineering, process optimization, and industrial plant design
✔ Experience in technical bid evaluation, RFQ preparation, and vendor coordination
✔ Strong stakeholder coordination across engineering, procurement, site teams, and clients
✔ Ability to drive innovation, standardization, and engineering process improvements
✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
