About Reneonix

Reneonix is a full-stack circularity infrastructure platform — starting with glass — combining AI-enabled sorting, traceability software, on-ground operations, and material science to scale reuse/recycling and upgrade "failed" waste streams into high-value circular outputs. We're building the circularity OS for packaging materials, city by city.

We're funded by Inflection Point Ventures, the Department of Science & Technology, Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, and HDFC Bank Parivartan, and incubated at NSRCEL (IIM Bangalore), ITEL Foundation, Anna Incubator, and iTNT (Tamil Nadu Technology Hub).

About the Role

Location: Chennai (on-site / hybrid)

The Founder's Office at Reneonix is not a support function — it's the engine room. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founding team across strategy, operations, fundraising, partnerships, and growth. One week you might be building a city launch playbook; the next you could be prepping an investor deck or closing a pilot with a glass manufacturer.

This role is ideal for someone who wants deep, cross-functional exposure to building a climate-infrastructure company and is comfortable operating in ambiguity with high ownership.

What You'll Do

  • Drive high-priority projects end-to-end — from scoping the problem to shipping the outcome — across operations, business development, strategy, and finance.
  • Support fundraising efforts: investor research, deck preparation, financial modeling, data room management, and follow-ups.
  • Lead research into new city launches, material streams, regulatory frameworks, and partnership opportunities.
  • Work closely with ops and tech teams to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and build scalable SOPs for collection, sorting, and fulfillment.
  • Own stakeholder communication — partners, municipal bodies, recyclers, buyers — and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Build dashboards, trackers, and internal tools to bring structure to a fast-moving early-stage environment.
  • Step into whatever function needs the most help on any given day — BD, ops, product, procurement, compliance — and figure it out.

Who You Are

  • 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, venture capital, startup operations, climate/sustainability ventures, or a similarly high-intensity environment.
  • Strong analytical chops — comfortable with financial models, unit economics, market sizing, and data synthesis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You can draft a partnership proposal and a WhatsApp message to a field partner with equal clarity.
  • Deeply resourceful and self-starting. You don't wait for a brief — you identify what matters and move.
  • Comfortable with on-ground realities: supply chains, logistics, informal ecosystems, and operational complexity. This isn't a slides-only role.
  • Low ego, high ownership. You'll negotiate with a scrap aggregator in the morning and present to an investor in the evening.
  • Genuine interest in circular economy, climate tech, or materials/waste infrastructure. Bonus if you've worked in or around these spaces.

Why Reneonix

  • Be one of the earliest team members at a company building critical climate infrastructure — not another SaaS dashboard.
  • Backed by Inflection Point Ventures, DST, Startup India, and HDFC Parivartan, and incubated at IIM Bangalore's NSRCEL, ITEL Foundation, Anna Incubator, and iTNT.
  • Direct access to the founders and a seat at every strategic decision.
  • Work across the full stack — hardware, software, ops, material science, policy — in a single role.
  • A clear path to a leadership position as the company scales.
  • The rare opportunity to build something that is both commercially compelling and genuinely needed.
