1. About Our Client:

2. About the Opportunity:


The Capital Markets Associate will support the financial structuring and funding of renewable energy projects. This role is responsible for developing financial models, managing funding processes, and coordinating with stakeholders to secure project financing. The position contributes directly to the organization’s ability to execute and expand its project portfolio by ensuring financial viability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.


3. Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain financial models including project finance, DCF analysis, and valuations

• Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to evaluate project risks and returns

• Perform financial due diligence by reviewing contracts and project documents

• Coordinate with lenders, investors, and financial stakeholders to fulfill funding conditions

• Review and provide comprehensive project documentation to capital partners

• Develop and maintain project financing schedules to meet milestone deadlines

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies

• Assist in structuring and negotiating financing agreements

• Prepare financial analyses and presentations for investment committees and partners

• Review and support cost estimates and budgets for project development

• Monitor project expenditures to ensure budget alignment

• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams for cohesive project delivery

• Communicate project status updates to internal and external stakeholders


4. Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

• 1 to 5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields; renewable energy experience preferred

• Proven skills in financial modeling, analysis, and valuation of infrastructure or energy projects

• Proficiency in financial modeling software such as Excel

• Strong understanding of project finance concepts including debt, equity, and tax equity structures

• Knowledge of renewable energy financing mechanisms such as power purchase agreements and tax credits

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking ability

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear presentation of complex information

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:


• Competitive salary range of $130,000 to $140,000

• Annual performance bonus
