2. About the Opportunity:


The Administrative Director role is critical for supporting the organization’s operations from its base in Washington, DC. This position ensures smooth administrative functions that enable the team to focus on advancing climate communication goals. The role contributes by managing day-to-day organizational needs, coordinating logistics, and supporting internal processes essential to the organization''s impact and effectiveness.


3. Responsibilities:


• Manage administrative operations and office functions

• Coordinate communication and scheduling within the team

• Support logistical arrangements for meetings, events, and travel

• Assist with record keeping and documentation

• Facilitate coordination between departments and external partners

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures

• Support hiring logistics, including interview scheduling and candidate communication

• Provide occasional support for remote work infrastructure and technology needs


4. Requirements:


• Experience in administrative or operational roles

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal

• Proficiency with scheduling and office software tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm EST, with some weekends and evenings as needed

• Located in or able to work from Washington, DC, with occasional travel


5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
