As our Account Manager (SaaS / Sustainability), you’ll become a key motion of our sales engine, nurturing relationships with sustainability and packaging decision-makers at the world’s leading brands and manufacturers.
Now, we’re looking for a commercially-driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to maximize the value of our growing customer base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building long-term strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities within complex organizations, and driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR) in the fast-evolving world of circular economy SaaS.
- Own the Expansion Strategy: Your core mission is to hunt for growth within our existing customer base. You will identify, negotiate, and close upsells and cross-sells to increase our "share of wallet" across global brands.
- Master the Renewal Cycle: You will lead the commercial renewal process from start to finish. You’ll navigate complex procurement cycles and legal negotiations to ensure our partnerships remain long-term and mutually beneficial.
- Partner with Customer Success: You will work in a high-impact tandem with our Customer Success Managers. While they focus on adoption and health, you focus on the commercial roadmap, ensuring our customers’ investment grows alongside their sustainability goals.
- Build Executive Relationships: You won’t just talk to users; you will engage with Economic Buyers, Sustainability Directors, and Procurement leads. You’ll build the trust necessary to expand Recyda’s footprint into new business units and geographies.
- Co-Lead Strategic Reviews: You will play a key role in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). You’ll bring the commercial perspective to the table, showing customers the ROI of adding new modules or expanding their license scope.
- Be the Commercial "Voice of Customer": You’ll gather deep insights into how our enterprise clients buy and scale. You’ll share this feedback with Product and Marketing to help shape our offering and roadmap for the future.
- Maintain Commercial Excellence: You will meticulously manage your expansion pipeline and renewal dates in our CRM. From generating quotes to securing Purchase Orders, you ensure a professional and seamless commercial experience for our clients.
- Professional Fluency in German and English (C1+): Essential for leading complex negotiations and building relationships with stakeholders across the DACH region and internationally.
- Proven Commercial Track Record: You have at least 2–4 years of experience in a closing role (Account Management or Sales), ideally within B2B SaaS. You know how to move a deal from "interested" to "contract signed."
- Relationship-Driven Hunter: You possess a unique blend of "farming" and "hunting." You are patient enough to build deep trust but proactive enough to ask for the upsell and push for growth.
- Strategic Thinking & Account Mapping: You can look at a global enterprise and understand how to navigate its hierarchy to find new opportunities. You don’t just wait for a lead; you create one.
- Collaborative Mindset: You enjoy working in a "pod" structure. You understand that the best account growth happens when Sales and Customer Success are perfectly aligned.
- A Genuine Passion for Our Mission: You are truly motivated by sustainability and climate tech. You want to help the world's largest companies solve one of the biggest environmental challenges: the future of packaging.
- CRM & Sales Tech Proficiency: You have daily experience working with HubSpot (or similar) and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage a sophisticated "Book of Business."
