The firm is seeking an Attorney to support its growing energy regulatory practice. This role involves working on complex regulatory and environmental matters affecting utilities and energy companies, with a strong focus on research, writing, and client advisory.

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory and administrative law matters at federal and state levels
  • Conduct legal research and draft high-quality briefs, memos, and filings
  • Advise clients in energy, utilities, and telecommunications sectors
  • Assist with projects related to:
  • Renewable energy development
  • Transmission siting and infrastructure
  • Clean energy mandates and compliance
  • Collaborate with attorneys on complex environmental and business issues
  • Participate in client interactions and case strategy discussions

Qualifications

  • JD degree from an accredited law school
  • Experience or exposure to: Administrative or regulatory law
  • Energy, utilities, or other regulated industries (preferred)
  • Judicial clerkship experience (a plus)
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team
