Crowe Hussain Chaudhury & Co. seeks an Assistant Manager specializing in Sustainability and Environmental Governance to lead sustainability initiatives and support the implementation of effective environmental strategies. This role focuses on delivering high-quality sustainability services, including reporting aligned with international standards such as IFRS S1, IFRS S2, and GRI. The Assistant Manager works closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to develop sustainability frameworks, assess risks and opportunities, and improve overall environmental governance. Although this position does not include managing a team, it requires collaboration across various stakeholders to foster sustainable business practices and drive performance improvement. The ideal candidate possesses at least three years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, climate change, consulting, or related fields. They demonstrate strong analytical abilities, expertise in sustainability frameworks, and the capacity to manage multiple projects efficiently. Responsibilities

include supporting client engagements, facilitating stakeholder workshops, preparing sustainability reports, and contributing to business development efforts. Proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Excel, and sustainability reporting tools is essential. The role also emphasizes continuous learning to stay current with evolving sustainability regulations and standards, enabling the consultant to provide clients with practical, business-oriented solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support sustainability initiatives and projects in line with organizational and client goals.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of sustainability strategies and action plans tailored to client requirements.
  • Assist in sustainability reporting processes adhering to frameworks such as IFRS S1, IFRS S2, and GRI Standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness of disclosures and KPIs.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities including workshops, management interviews, and materiality assessments to identify sustainability risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and review sustainability reports, disclosures, and performance metrics with attention to data quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on latest sustainability regulations, industry standards, and emerging market trends to inform client advisories and project methodologies.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery within established timelines and quality standards.
  • Build strong client relationships to foster collaboration and enhance service delivery.
  • Support business development efforts such as proposal creation, presentation preparation, project scoping, and commercial discussions.
  • Develop technical methodologies, project plans, and client deliverables that drive successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor team members by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and promoting professional development opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis skills and business productivity tools to interpret complex sustainability data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
