Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
- Conduct and coordinate site surveys, assessing project feasibility and identifying potential challenges before installation.
- Manage and lead a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, designers, technicians, installers, and subcontractors, by assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and installation logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee design processes to comply with electrical, structural, utility, and local code standards, managing revisions as necessary based on site and regulatory changes.
- Prepare, submit, and track necessary permits, including HOA applications and utility interconnection requests, liaising with authorities having jurisdiction and utility providers.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, resolving issues related to permitting, design, materials, installation, and inspections to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure quality assurance by reviewing documentation, monitoring installation workmanship, coordinating inspections, and addressing any deficiencies promptly.
- Maintain continuous communication with clients, updating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with vendors and external partners to facilitate resource availability and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate commissioning activities including system monitoring setup, final inspections, and managing Permission to Operate (PTO) processes with utilities.
- Track and control project budgets, monitor expenses, report financial details to management, and forecast costs to support financial planning.
- Maintain thorough and organized project records including surveys, designs, permits, inspection reports, and completion documents.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
