The Opportunity
A well-funded, award-winning climate-tech SaaS business operating in the real estate sector, helping owners, funds, consultants and asset managers reduce regulatory and climate risk while protecting income and asset value.
Demand has outgrown founder-led sales. The market is ready.
What they need now is a senior commercial leader to take full ownership of revenue and build a scalable growth engine.
This is a hands-on Sales / Commercial Director role: leading enterprise sales, owning key relationships and professionalising go-to-market in a business entering its next phase of growth.
What You’ll Do
- Own revenue growth end to end, with a clear target of ~£1m in the next 12 months
- Lead enterprise B2B sales into real estate owners, funds, REITs and consultants
- Personally manage and close complex, long-cycle SaaS deals (£5k–£100k+)
- Build and execute outreach and GTM strategy beyond founder networks
- Translate sustainability, retrofit and climate risk into commercial outcomes
- Shape messaging, positioning and sales materials for the real estate market
- Build long-term, senior relationships with decision-makers across asset management and sustainability teams
- Work closely with founders, product and delivery to align growth with capability
- Professionalise pipeline management, forecasting and deal momentum
What You’ll Bring
They’re focused on impact and capability, not narrow career paths.
- 10–15+ years’ experience in enterprise B2B sales, ideally in real estate or PropTech SaaS
- Proven success closing both high-value and high-volume deals
- Strong, current network within real estate funds, owners, REITs or consultancies
- Experience selling into sustainability / ESG-led buying groups
- Track record of scaling revenue in a startup or scale-up environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by building structure where it doesn’t yet exist
- Willing to be hands-on — this is not a purely strategic or advisory role
