Sales Account Manager
Job Description
RE:Circle Ontario seeks a Sales Account Manager in the Organics Business Unit. The Sales Account Manager will drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts for RE:Circle’s organics material collection services and finished product sales. This role combines business development, customer relationship management, and industry expertise to support RE:Circle's mission of creating value from food waste and achieving our customers’ sustainability and zero waste goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of food waste management innovation, partnering with leading grocery retailers, manufacturers, and farmers to achieve measurable sustainability outcomes.
Essential Functions:
- Improve RE:Circle market presence and profitability by identifying new accounts, managing existing accounts, and supporting the closing of new accounts in line with RE:Circle’s corporate sales strategy.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to exceed customer satisfaction.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve strategic sales targets and (KPIs).
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales targets, including measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and optimize sales performance
- Perform sales-related activities including, but not limited to, customer relationship management, leading client meetings, and visiting client site 3-4 days a week.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to maximize revenue growth.
- Negotiate contracts to secure long-term client relationships.
- Stay updated on and analyze industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain compliance with all contracts, corporate, administrative and industry policies and procedures.

- Experience in product marketing strategy, pricing management and optimization, business development, data analysis, contract negotiation and/or other customer-facing roles.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or sales.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or customer service roles, ideally within manufacturing, food processing, waste management, sustainability, or livestock farming industries.
- Previous account management experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Keep up to date with product and industry knowledge.
- Travel Requirements: 50%-week travel within territory.
