Role Description

The Technical Sourcing Engineer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and procuring electronic components, modules, and parts required for R&D projects and system integration activities. This role requires strong technical understanding, market awareness, and vendor management skills.


Responsibilities

  • Source and procure electronic components, modules, and assemblies required for product development and system integration.
  • Review engineering drawings, BOMs, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct availability checks, lead-time assessments, and evaluate alternatives.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
  • Track supplier performance on quality and delivery.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Engineering, and Production teams.
  • Collaborate with finance and supply chain teams.
  • Provide feedback on part availability and lifecycle status.
  • Prepare sourcing reports, comparison sheets, and cost analyses.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and vendor databases.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in R&D or system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components.
  • Knowledge of BOM management and component lifecycle.
