New Homebuyer Coordinator
What part will you play?
- Seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our New Homes program team as a Homebuyer Coordinator. The Homebuyer Coordinator role is the liaison between new homebuyers and the Energy provider. Primary responsibilities include: introducing homebuyers to Energy product(s), talking through lease and cash options with homebuyers, and documenting data within our internal systems. This role requires excellent customer service skills and organizational abilities, as well as the ability to understand basic solar concepts and solar lease and purchase documents.
- This position will be based in Kansas City.
- The ideal candidate must enjoy collaboration across multiple teams to support the business. The Homebuyer Coordinator will be a key contributor in expanding our business volume.
What will you do?
- Introducing homebuyers to Timberline Solar product details as well as providing basic information on home solar systems
- Reviewing lease and/or purchase agreements with homebuyers and answering any questions or concerns
- Ensuring lease or purchase agreement is executed by homebuyer and the solar Energy provider
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive homebuyer documentation within our internal systems
- Engaging with third party financing partner(s) as needed to share homebuyer information
- Staying in regular communication with homebuyers to ensure all needs are met as projects proceed
- Monitoring project process and handling any issues that arise
- Performing other duties as assigned
What do we require from you?
- 4+ years work experience in customer-facing role
- Experience in solar industry is preferred
- Familiarity with new home construction processes is a plus
- Proficiency in standard office software
- Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred
- Strong communication skills across a wide variety of settings and audiences. Good listening skills a must.
- Adaptable, personable, innovative, high tolerance for ambiguity and pressure
- High energy/high sense of urgency/fast-paced and can think on your feet
- Self-motivated; has ability to manage workload autonomously
- Comfortable working as a team player in a start-up environment where no job is too small
