POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dynamic Executive Strategic Publicist to amplify the global presence of our CEO and Executive Leadership Team. You will ensure Rainforest Alliance's leadership voice is not only strategic and impactful, but also visible in the world's most important conversations. From global platforms and government leaders, you will secure opportunities that enhance our mission. From trending topics and social media, you will create narratives that resonate and position our CEO as a thought leader in sustainability, climate, and human rights.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Be a trusted advisor to the CEO, ensuring external engagements align with organizational priorities and global impact goals.
- Be a connector between internal teams and external stakeholders, translating organizational strategy into compelling leadership presence.
- Develop the strategy to drive the CEO's impact and visibility.
- Identify and secure strategic external engagements opportunities for the CEO to engage meaningfully and impactfully.
- Build and maintain external relationships to amplify the CEO's voice.
- Develop creative strategies to position the CEO as a recognized voice in sustainability, climate action, social justice and human rights.
- Create compelling briefs, talking points, and narratives ensuring consistency, authenticity, and agreement on our 2030 strategy.
- Partner with internal teams to develop the CEO‑level social media presence that is engaging, and aligned with global conversations.
- Create storylines that connect Rainforest Alliance's mission to current global debates, ensuring consistency across media, events, internal and external communications.
- Focus on orchestration and strategic deployment of events.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Background in public relations with a pulse on global trends and media engagement skills.
- 7+ years of experience as a senior advisor with a proven track record in influencing executive levels.
- Secure high value visibility opportunities for senior leadership.
- Exceptional storytelling and narrative skills.
- Deep understanding of both external engagement and internal communication dynamics including social media and current events.
- A collaborative mindset, strong emotional intelligence, and cultural sensitivity.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach and a global outlook.

- National Salary range (Excluding NY and DC) - $77,112 - $110,146
- New York Salary Range - $91,606 - $130,866
- Washington DC Salary Range - $88,666 - $126,667
