The Senior Associate, Corporate Partnerships (Marketing) will play a crucial role in developing and implementing revenue-generating partnerships with companies and brands that align with the mission of the Rainforest Alliance. The Senior Associate, Corporate Partnerships (Marketing) will also manage all aspects of specific cause marketing partnership campaigns or projects.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the cause marketing program, create impactful marketing materials, and identify potential partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with your supervisor to develop a comprehensive program strategy, establish an internal framework, and create compelling marketing materials for the cause marketing program.

  • Identify and compile a list of prospective companies that have a demonstrated interest in corporate giving and are supportive of our mission.

  • Take charge of negotiations with potential partners, using your outstanding communication and persuasion abilities to secure mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Collaborate with relevant colleagues to develop creative concepts and campaign ideas, and pitch them to appropriate prospects.

  • Take ownership of developing and handling a portfolio of new corporate partners, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement.

  • Achieve revenue growth by meeting established objectives and implementing strategies to optimize the value of corporate partnerships.

  • Develop and implement systems to track and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate partnerships, providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify emerging opportunities in corporate partnership development to continuously enhance our strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous experience in developing corporate partnerships in a non-profit setting is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to build successful collaborations.

  • Proven track record in cold calling and pitching ideas to prospective partners, demonstrating your exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in leading client and account relationships, highlighting your ability to build and maintain strong connections.

  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to successfully implement and lead multiple complex projects in a time-sensitive manner.

  • Exhibit initiative, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and strong attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of partnership initiatives.

  • Adept at negotiating agreements, showcasing your ability to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, enabling you to effectively analyze data and create impactful presentations.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, allowing you to convey compelling messages to diverse audiences.

  • Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with diverse individuals both within and outside the organization.

  • Knowledge of, and commitment to environmental issues and sustainability practices is preferred, reflecting your alignment with our mission and values.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Salary: For USA based candidates only:

  • National Salary range (Excluding NY and DC) - $52,441 - $74,916

  • New York Salary Range - $62,306 - $89,009

  • Washington DC Salary Range - $60,307 - $86,154
