Position summary:

At the Rainforest Alliance we are looking for an enthusiastic, service oriented, and detail focused new team member for our Talent Acquisition team. The Rainforest Alliance is a fast-growing organization with 650+ staff spread across the globe with the ambition to further diversity its staff base and, to hire significantly more staff in the three geographical regions where we create the impact.

The Recruiter is part of the global Talent Acquisition team who is managing the recruitment process from initiate candidate’s contact to offer ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.


  • Initial consultation with hiring managers along with HR Business partner to review their needs and explain the hiring process; work with hiring managers and HR Business partner to analyse, develop, update vacancy descriptions;
  • Support uploading and closing vacancies in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS);
  • Supporting the Global HR team with external recruitment postings (LinkedIn and others platforms);
  • Screening resumes, schedule/conduct onsite or virtual interviews, proceed reference checks, prepare and deliver progress communication to candidates and hiring manager, extend offers to and answer questions from candidates;
  • Maintaining and updating the recruitment database;
  • Be the single point of contact for any questions related to our ATS;
  • Ensuring timely communication to applicants on ATS and internal mail folder, with appropriate answers to their queries and feedback of hiring process;
  • Closing the recruitment loop by coordinating on offer, reference checks, contract and onboarding in alignment with HR Business partners and hiring managers;
  • Updating our intranet page for recruitment and onboarding process;
  • Directing hiring managers to use the right resources on our intranet;
  • Train the HR Team and Hiring managers on our ATS and maintain and update the training documents;
  • Keep the vacancy description database up to date;
  • Keep TA KPI up to date on a monthly basis;
  • Coordinating contract and agreement management for new vendor registration in our compliance system;
  • Benchmarks TA trends and innovations;


  • Bachelor’s and / or Masters’ degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
  • 3+ year’s relevant experience in recruitment required; sourcing experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience using an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS is welcome;
  • Experience conducting interviews;
  • General understanding of financial compensation packages;
  • Organized and detail-oriented with good time management and follow-through skills. Able to plan, organize, manage and/or carry out multiple related activities simultaneously;
  • Fluent in English and additional language welcome
  • People and service oriented;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Extremely well organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks; and,
  • Ability to be flexible, work with interruptions and shift priority of tasks as required
  • Able to handle sensitive information confidentially;
