Position summary:

The Quality of Implementation Associate (Africa and Europe ) will support the Assurance Department by managing CB and Endorsement licenses, Supply Chain Risk Assessment (SCRA) reviews, and providing guidance to Certification Bodies (CBs) in the North region. They will collaborate with internal teams to ensure certification integrity, collaborate with the Senior Officer in monitoring implementation quality, and provide feedback on program improvements to the Products team. Attention to detail, agility while multi-tasking, and strong communication skills are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Review audit findings and evidence and issue licenses in alignment with other regions.
  • Review company SCRAs and ensure data accuracy and completion.
  • Provide internal and external trainings on supply chain requirements and the certification program. This includes coordinating face-to-face sessions, online trainings, and regular check-ins with Certification Bodies in the region.
  • Participate in collaboration calls to support internal stakeholders, such as Customer Success, ensuring alignment on interpretations and applicability of certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and deliver trainings on the supply chain certification program.
  • Work with global team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of processes and procedures.
  • Communicate with and coordinate CB activities in the region, including answering questions, reviewing audit reports, and more.
  • Proactively contribute to projects that strengthen collaboration and bring QoI closer to RA’s mission and vision.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a business environment, including internships and volunteer experience;
  • Be fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Spanish or French, (German and/or Dutch are a bonus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a time critical manner;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact culturally, linguistically, and diplomatically with diverse internal and external individuals;
  • Knowledge of, and dedication to environmental issues and sustainability practices.
