Product Owner, LandScale
Overview of LandScale:
LandScale is an innovative global initiative, co-lead by the Rainforest Alliance and Conservation International, which aims to drive improvements in sustainability at landscape level. To do this, LandScale offers an online platform to assess and communicate credible information about landscape sustainability. The assessment framework, guidance and data resources hosted on the platform are complemented by technical support and an assurance service. For example, it can support farmers, local communities and governments to understanding the needs of the landscape where they operate, and the effects of their practices on environmental and social indicators and enable companies to report on their sourcing commitments. To date, LandScale assessments have been completed or are in the process of being conducted by 31 landscape-initiatives in 18 countries. In addition to increasing adoption of the LandScale system by landscape-initiatives, we are working to enable supply chain companies, investors and donors to engage with relevant and effective landscape initiatives to drive improvements in sustainability at landscape scale.
