Principal Policy Officer
The Principal Policy Officer will work as part of a team to contribute to the delivery of a complex program of work across climate strategy, governance and policy design. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to consider and resolve complex policy matters, identify key risks and develop strategic responses. This will include working within the Policy and Analytics team to contribute to the development of plans and policies, interjurisdictional collaboration, supporting governance structures, and emissions modelling.

Key Responsibilities Include
Leading programs of work and supporting team members in a highly dynamic and complex working environment, in line with Treasury's climate and industry policy needs.
Delivering projects and strategic analysis as required, ranging from strategic policy through to coordinating governance arrangements, reporting, and program design and delivery. Communicating with senior management, community, industry stakeholders and other agencies' officers about the Government's climate policy, governance, priorities and programs.
Building and maintaining strong relationships across government agencies and local governments in Queensland, other jurisdictions and research institutions. Representing Treasury and government in a broad range of forums within and external to state government.
Applications will remain current for 12 months.
