Marketing Automation Specialist

As our Marketing Automation Specialist (HubSpot), you’ll be the architect behind a data-driven, scalable customer journey in HubSpot. You’ll design, build, and maintain automations that ensure every lead and customer moves seamlessly through our customer journey, powered by data, integrations, and logic you define.
You’ll work on projects that shape how thousands of households adopt sustainable energy: from the backbone of promotional campaigns to self-service check-out flows and lifecycle automations.
The impact you’ll make
- Build and maintain HubSpot workflows that connect and synchronize multiple entities (contacts, deals, houses) and their underlying properties across the customer journey.
 - Set up and manage data logic, dependencies, and properties that trigger communication and internal processes.
 - Ensure data consistency and scalability by structuring fields, validating inputs, and documenting everything clearly.
 - Collaborate with marketing, tech, and operations to translate business logic into automated flows.
 - Manage integrations with tools like Make, ensuring reliable data exchange between systems.
 - Monitor, debug, and optimize workflows proactively — preventing issues before they occur.
 - Drive new automation projects such as lead scoring, recommender integrations, and lifecycle tracking.
 
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience, including building and maintaining (complex) workflows, segments, and entity relationships.
 - Proven ability to design logical, data-driven automations that power longer customer journeys.
 - A structured, analytical mindset with a passion for clean data and well-documented systems.
 - Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams.
 - You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams.
 - Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
 - Bonus points for experience with server-side tracking for online marketing, HubSpot integrations (Make.com, Webhooks, API), or energy/proptech environments.
