FP&A Analyst
We're dedicated to expediting the energy transition with sustainable home energy solutions accessible to all, aiming to assist 3 million households in making the transition by 2030. That's why we're looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual who's ready to roll up their sleeves and make a tangible impact on the climate change challenge we're tackling head-on. Are you ready to rise to the challenge?
Right now, Finance at Quatt is reinventing itself. The month-end close process is being built. Reporting is minimal. And leadership is making decisions with incomplete financial visibility — not because the data isn't there, but because no one has yet connected it into something meaningful.
That's not a warning. It's the job description. As FP&A Analyst, you'll build the reporting foundation from the ground up, work out which metrics actually matter, and automate the hygiene so the team can focus on insight rather than data collection.
? What You'll Be Doing
? A salary between €3.500,- and €5.200,- monthly
? Direct line to the CFO & founders — your work feeds into board-level decisions. Short feedback loops, real influence.
? Climate impact, for real — Quatt's growth means more homes off gas. The numbers you improve have a physical effect.
? 25 vacation days + 8% holiday allowance
? Free healthy lunch every day in the office
? OpenUp mental health platform
? Pension via a.s.r. Doenpensioen
Don't tick every box? Apply anyway — we care more about how you think than what your CV looks like.

? What You'll Be Doing
- Financial reporting cycle: Own and continuously improve what the business actually needs to see — and automate the basics so reporting becomes reliable and fast.
- Financial model: Support the CFO in building and maintaining the P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet model — with growing ownership as you develop in the role.
- Monthly trading update: Prepare the update the CFO presents to founders and the board — pulling together key numbers, variance analysis, and forward-looking commentary.
- Cross-source insights: Combine data from NetSuite, Snowflake, HubSpot, and other sources to surface financial insights that haven't been visible before. No one will tell you exactly what to look for.
- S&OP connection: Work closely with the S&OP Analyst to connect the operational forecast (capacity, stock, headcount) to the financial forecast and P&L.
- Close process: Collaborate with the Financial Controllers to improve data quality and close process efficiency as the monthly cycle matures.
- Experience: 2–5 years in FP&A, financial analysis, or a comparable role, ideally with some exposure to a scaling business, hardware/product company, or operational environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity: You don't need a brief to start asking questions; you find the questions yourself.
- Financial modelling: You can build and improve a P&L model, run variance analysis, and translate operational inputs into financial outputs.
- Data skills: You know how to work with data from multiple sources and combine them into a coherent picture.
- Backbone: You're confident challenging stakeholders who are busy, senior, or not immediately forthcoming and you do it constructively, with the numbers to back you up.
- Rigour: You produce accurate, auditable work and you hold yourself to that standard even when speed is demanded.
- Language: Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus in our Amsterdam office.
- Experience with NetSuite, Snowflake, SQL, Power BI / Tableau, or Blue10.
- Background in a scaling business or hardware/product company.
