Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in keeping our organization financially healthy. You will have the opportunity to shape the financial core of Quatt, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. You will work closely with Finance Operations and report directly to the CFO.

? Your Impact
- End-to-end accounting: manage OPEX, Payroll, and R&D, ensuring 100% accurate personnel cost bookings. You will be the finance lead for HR/Payroll providers.
- Tax & compliance: handle VAT and corporate tax filings and keep our 5 legal entities always audit-ready.
- Intercompany & reconciliations: manage standard intercompany transactions and ensure accurate month-end closings and balance sheet reconciliations per entity and consolidated.
- Finance policies & controls: maintain and update internal financial policies, procedures, and position papers, and implement effective key controls.
- Coaching & collaboration: support and coach GL Accountants and the AP/AR team; act as the first point of escalation for transactional issues and improve processes.
- Process improvement: work across departments to streamline month-end closings, reduce errors, and increase automation.
- Education & experience: Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting + RA, ACCA, or equivalent; 2–5 years post-audit experience (5+ years overall work experience).
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP (IFRS is a plus).
- Experience preparing financial statements at entity and consolidated levels.
- Experience in multi-entity, international companies, preferably with Netsuite.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, able to distinguish material from non-material issues.
- Proactive, independent, and results-driven: “first time right, on time.”
- Excellent communication skills across all levels; confident in challenging the status quo.

- A salary between €3.800 and €5.500 monthly (depending on experience) ?
