Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and experience with solar panel installation. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage connections.
• Conduct fixture installations and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues during installation and provide solutions as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar electrical role, preferably with commercial electrician experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, and NEC regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Experience with roofing techniques related to solar panel installation is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
• Previous experience in plumbing is a plus but not required.
