Company Description

Quadriz, founded in 2019 in the Netherlands, is the largest carbon project developer in Paraguay, with offices in Asunción, and operations in the Paraguayan Chaco. Specializing in Nature-based Solutions (NBS), Quadriz develops and manages verified carbon projects aimed at conserving the native forests of the Gran Chaco, one of the world's largest forest carbon sinks and biodiversity hotspots facing severe deforestation. The company’s signature REDD+ project, “Corazón Verde del Chaco,” avoids the planned deforestation of 32,000 hectares of critical Chaco forest, conserving endangered species, supporting local communities, and mitigating CO2 emissions. Quadriz enables companies to offset their carbon footprint effectively, while contributing to forest preservation, biodiversity protection, and community development in Paraguay’s Gran Chaco region. Investancia, sister company to Quadriz, was founded in 2011 and focuses on reforestation and the production of feedstocks to for advanced biofuels (HVO/SAF). Investancia has two nurseries in Alto Paraguay, employs approximately 200 staff and has become the largest producer of pongamia and native trees in the world. Investancia has two projects across Paraguay and Brazil validated against ARR and CCB.
