QCELLS Enable is the EPC entity of Qcells for large commercial and industrial and utility scale solar markets (minimum size of project is 5MW and over). Our mission is to provide world class design and installation of large-scale PV and ESS systems throughout the US. Our position as a leading module manufacturer means we can offer end-to-end solutions for project developers and asset managers. We are expanding our offerings and have several open positions currently in our Teaneck, New Jersey headquarters.
SUMMARY
The Sr. Sales Manager is accountable for selling Qcells‘ Solar EPC(Engineering, Procurement and Construction) services to the clients who are developers, facility owners or other business partners. Typical project size of the company’s EPC services is 5MWdc - 100MWdc.
The successful candidate should possess a proven track record of B2B sales and a great understanding on solar and EPC business.
The successful candidate should have the ability to drive the opportunity to the contract by working with internal parties and the client in a fast and timely manner.
Existing networks with potential clients and/or experience in major solar product or EPC company are strong plus.
This position will report to Head of Enable. Required to commute to the Teaneck, NJ office 3 times a week, Tuesday required

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the entire sales process from the origination of opportunities to the contract with the cooperation with the related internal counterparts such as proposal, engineering, project management and construction.
  • Develop and maintain the strong networks with the clients, and originate EPC sales pipeline for its own.
  • Develops and executes strategic account plans to ensure business goals are achieved.
  • Develops effective differentiators and negotiation strategies and understands all key commercial and legal issues.
  • Strategic thinking and contractual knowledge to develop various formation of agreement for long term partnership with the clients, including but not limited to framework agreement, master service agreement and/or partnership agreement etc.
  • Proactively cooperate with other product sales managers under broader Qcells to create synergies and to prevent conflicts.
  • Understand and update the own sales pipeline status and create the monthly forecast of yearly order intakes.
  • Analyzes and interprets Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs); Establishes deliverable matrix and development schedule.
  • Generate the winning strategy equipped with proper intelligence from the client, competitors and market.
  • Must be able to work with confidential information and ensure the security of this information.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as reasonably assigned by supervisor and/or Head of the company.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Technical discipline or Business Administration is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years‘ experience of sales/business development for EPC contract in large C&I(5MW+) or utility solar or renewable construction industry;
  • Required to commute to the Teaneck, NJ office 3 times a week, Tuesday required.
  • A proven track record of successful sales including but not limited to managing multiple accounts and projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines simultaneously.
  • Solar industry experience.
  • Computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, analytical, solutions-building, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent ability to communicate among construction, technical and non-technical personnel, both internally and outside the company.
  • Team player and a willingness to learn.
  • Deadline-oriented with an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment.
  • Diligent and professional work ethics.
