  • Analyze and forecast impacts of evolving policies and regulatory frameworks, specifically around incentive phase-outs (e.g., ITC), energy efficiency standards, and emission regulations, to proactively identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer energy usage patterns to inform strategic planning and solution design for C&I segments.

Business Strategy & Model Development

  • Develop and recommend innovative business strategies and customer offerings that align with changing market conditions and energy policy shifts, incorporating both renewable and non-renewable energy solutions, and energy efficiency products.
  • Evaluate and structure comprehensive financing solutions to ensure feasibility and market competitiveness of proposed business models.
  • Engage cross-functionally with development, finance, engineering, sales, and external financial institutions to effectively structure and deploy new business initiatives.

Financial Analysis & Investment Support

  • Provide strategic financial analysis, including scenario planning and sensitivity assessments, to guide internal decision-making and project approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate financial modeling and forecasting capabilities into broader strategic planning processes.

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Prepare clear, concise, and insightful presentations and reports for senior leadership and investment committees, translating complex market and financial data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor internally, clearly articulating the rationale, risks, and benefits of proposed business strategies and initiatives to diverse stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of strategic planning, financial modeling, and/or commercial business development experience within the broader energy sector (renewable, conventional, and/or energy efficiency products).
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and valuation of energy projects or business initiatives, with the ability to model complex financing scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics across various segments of the energy industry, including familiarity with energy efficiency technologies and non-renewable generation solutions.
  • Proven capability to synthesize industry intelligence into strategic business recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying complex financial and strategic concepts to executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA or relevant graduate degree).
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating project financing or energy-related transactions.
