EnFin is a financial services company that provides financing for residential solar PV and energy efficiency upgrades, back by the PV panel manufacturer, Qcells. EnFin is looking for an energetic team member to join the Capital Markets team. The Manager will help in structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions with institutional investors, warehouse financing providers, and investment banks, and develop expertise in areas such as debt financing, securitization, strategic finance, and tax equity. The ideal team member will have direct experience or a strong base of knowledge in financial services, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams, and an appetite and aptitude for complex financial structures. This employment opportunity is eligible for remote work, however, Hybrid or Onsite work may be required for candidates residing within a commutable distance of any of our corporate offices in these locations: San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; and Teaneck, NJ.


Responsibilities


  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the Capital Markets strategy to bolster the company’s expansion in the residential lending sector.
  • Oversee the comprehension and negotiation of legal contracts associated with structured finance ventures.
  • Guide the team in framing and finalizing dealings with institutional investors, warehouse facilities, and securitization initiatives.
  • Spearheaded the incorporation of warehouse and whole loan clients onto EnFin's platform. This encompasses operational alignment, reviewing documentation, and streamlining reporting mechanisms.
  • Oversee comprehensive audits for warehouse setups, partnering closely with both internal departments like risk, operations, tech, and finance, and external auditing entities.
  • Aid in conceptualizing and implementing the company's Asset and Liability Management (ALM) approach, emphasizing interest rate risk containment and adept funding & liquidity operations.
  • Guide the team in deploying tools like SQL and Tableau to derive insights from collateral performance data.
  • Foster a productive relationship with internal credit, product, and operations units to ensure an unparalleled investor journey.
  • Supervise the creation and periodic revision of pitch decks and track market trends to bolster investor relations.
  • Offer prompt and informed analytical support to aid the company's strategy formulation and high-level determinations in a dynamic business landscape.
  • Infuse a culture of continuous learning within the team. Foster collaboration, mentor junior team members, and ensure collective growth in domain expertise.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or related field
  • 4+ years in structured finance, private credit, investment banking, fixed income sales & trading, or relevant capital markets role
  • Understanding of consumer lending, credit underwriting and knowledge of consumer asset backed securities (ABS) markets
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Excel (Pivot tables, lookups & VBA)
  • Experience with SQL, Python or SAS required
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to research, identify and troubleshoot problems independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced work environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years in capital markets working for an issuer (sell side) with experience structuring capital markets transactions working with banks, rating agencies, auditors, and law firms.
  • Master's degree or certification in finance, economics, business intelligence, analytics, or a related field
