This Legal Assistant position will be providing paralegal support primarily in the areas of trade litigation, compliance, government relations, and commercial transactions. This position is hybrid and will be located in Irvine, California.

You will join a collegial team of Legal professionals. Our Legal team is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years and there will be exciting opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall legal administrative support to the Trade and Government Relations Team members
  • Support in complex trade litigation, customs, and related matters
  • Prepare meeting presentations, draft letters, coordinate and assist in communications and reports to Headquarters
  • Draft engagement letters and contracts with various outside counsel, consulting firms and other third parties
  • Track and process invoices
  • Obtain approvals through internal approval systems
  • Maintain documents in online storage system
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of working experience as a legal assistant or equivalent
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with tracking and processing legal or other invoices is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, G-Suite, PDF, and not afraid of using and learning any new software systems.
  • Proactive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Confidenceandabilitytointeractwithpeopleatalllevelsoftheorganization
  • Dependable and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in speaking and writing Korean language, including business terminologies.
The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties & requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
