POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Enfin by Qcells is seeking a Sales Quality Manager to support the implementation of quality processes and procedures that ensure the integrity of sales inputs on EnFin TPO projects sold by partner installers and their dealers. This role will play a key part in validating the accuracy of sales assumptions that impact estimated customer savings, ensuring compliance with EnFin’s Savings Policy, and minimizing risk exposure.
In addition to auditing and validating sales data, this role will help identify and address high-risk areas across the sales-to-funding lifecycle by implementing preventative measures and process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in utility rate structures comparative to financed solar payments, solar project financial modeling, and compliance best practices within the residential solar industry.
This position is also designed to evolve with the business, with potential to expand into other operational/compliance risk areas as they arise, supporting broader quality initiatives and helping prevent customer complaints and downstream issues through scalable, sustainable practices.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Compliance & QA: Develop and oversee an audit process for sales projects, ensuring all inputs related to customer pricing, savings, and utility rate structures are accurate and compliant.
- Utility Rate Expertise: Maintain a high-level understanding of utility rate structures and their impact on customer savings and company revenue. Collaborate with external partners such as Genability and our integrated sales proposal platforms (ie: Aurora) for rate pricing validation.
- Internal Pricing & Forecasting: Develop and refine internal pricing models to forecast ROI on residential solar projects.
- System Development & Automation: Design and implement an audit system within Salesforce and Excel to manage project verification processes.
- Data Management & Reporting: Create and manage dashboards, visual reports, and analytics tools to provide executive leadership with insights on sales compliance, performance, and trends.
- Process Development & Standardization: Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales compliance, ensuring consistency and accuracy in data validation.
- Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, and oversee a team responsible for reviewing and auditing sales project inputs, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and best practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, product, and operations teams to ensure compliance processes align with business goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Industry Expertise: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or other related field with a minimum 8+ years of professional work experience including 5+ years of experience in the solar energy industry, with a focus in one or more of the following areas: contract verification, utility data validation, utility rate structures, pricing analysis, solar financing, or sales compliance.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce, Excel (including advanced functions), and reporting tools such as Tableau and SFDC reporting.
- Audit & QA Experience: Proven track record of implementing quality assurance processes for project data validation and verification.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making. Experience with financial modeling is a plus.
- Leadership Ability: Experience managing and building teams, including training and process development.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Genability and Aurora for utility rate analysis.
- Prior experience in roles focused on compliance, pricing, or sales operation auditing.
- Background in regulatory compliance within the solar or renewable energy industry.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
