Description



Axia by QCELLS seeks a Project Manager, to execute and oversee project construction, Installation Partner recruiting, onboarding, and performance management within the Axia division. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading analysis on, third party business partners and vendors to support cross functional tasks to drive speed to revenue and positive margin achievement while ensuring data is updated in an accurate and timely manner. Major responsibilities include, sales contract intake audit and assignment, calculating sales partner commissions, coordinating with vendors and partners for weekly pipeline reviews, and ensuring data is completely accurate withing Axia by QCELLS internal systems. This is a position that reports to Axia by Q Cells senior leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and a calm business demeanor. Experience in solar operations is a must. This position will be based in the Q CELLS North America headquarters in Irvine, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Contracts: Audit incoming contracts for pricing, scope, accuracy, and margin. Input new contracts into systems accurately and promptly.
  • Vendor Coordination: Oversee vendor onboarding and document management, including:
    • Collecting and verifying documentation.
    • Serving as the point of contact for third-party onboarding support.
    • Reviewing and reporting on upcoming vendor document expirations.
    • Providing monthly Vendor KPI summaries.
  • Solar Service Tickets: Create and assign tickets for field service within project management software.
  • Sales Commissions: Calculate commissions on projects upon milestone achievements.
  • Executive Reporting: Generate business KPI reports, including:
    • Contract accuracy.
    • External project costs vs. business plan.
    • Revenue & margin targets.
    • Speed and cycle times in the solar journey.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor team performance to improve solar construction cycle times.
  • Product Rollout Training: Work with senior leadership to develop training for new product rollouts to external partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • 7-10+ years of experience in the residential and/or commercial solar industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering, construction, or a related industry.
  • Proven project management skills, including development, planning, installation, and execution.
  • Detailed understanding of all phases of residential solar construction, including engineering, procurement, and project management.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, team development, people management, and influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Ability to recruit and lead quantitative talent.
