Position Overview

The Operations Associate will report to the Director of Operations and Strategy and will maintain oversight of all administrative functions related to the growth of the HES organization. The Associate will be responsible for a range of projects and initiatives, including data analysis and operations strategy, providing support to HES Head of Finance as needed, and providing team leaders with project-based assistance.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with HQCA and HES members and management in the development and execution of strategy projects
  • Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, competitor dynamics and current events to provide relevant business insights
  • Support all new initiatives that focus on operational record-keeping and documentation
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize, and execute tasks to balance business needs vs. technical constraints, ensuring quality
  • Support projects as needed to build and cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization
  • Handle vendor proposals and agreements and negotiate with external partners and collaborate with internal tech development teams to ensure that projects meet business requirements
  • Oversee ad hoc short-term projects that are often data-intensive and require tight deadlines
  • Maintain operational record-keeping and weekly meeting deliverables
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Demonstrated tangible work experience in an operations or administrative role
  • Demonstrate priority-driven thinking through excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skilled in negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, supporting team members, and executing and driving deliverable timelines
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
