Financial Control Specialist

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Finance Control Specialist will provide treasury and accounting support to the Finance Control team. This position reports to the Head of Finance Control or another senior management personnel that the HEAD of the CCI may designate. This position is in Irvine, California.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and manage accounts payable and account receivable transactions
- Perform daily cash flow reconciliation
- Maintain or update cash flow statement
- Assist in managing banking transactions
- Verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, including matching invoices with purchase orders, sales orders and receiving reports
- Review and reconcile vendor/customer statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Work with internal departments and vendors/customers to resolve issues or disputes
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely payment of invoices and adherence to payment terms
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely receipt of funds and adherence to receivable schedule
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and account receivable records, including filing and archiving documents
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Participate in month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations
- Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely receipt of goods or services and accurate invoice processing
- Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related fields
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional treasury or accounting experience
- Korean Bilingual ( Preferred)
- Hands-on experience in treasury, accounting, financial closing, bookkeeping, and ledger management
- Previous experience working in a multinational company preferred
- Previous experience with ERP system preferred (SAP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly
- Strong, self-motivated team player
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook
