EnFin’s Counterparty Risk Audit Associate is responsible for conducting audits of loan processes to detect fraud and non-compliance by evaluating risks and ensuring regulatory adherence. This position reports to the Senior Director of Counterparty Risk Management or any other senior personnel the President of the Company may designate. While this employment opportunity is eligible for remote work, hybrid or onsite work may be required for candidates residing within a commutable distance of any of our corporate offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; and Teaneck, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct audits of loan milestone submissions and documentation to identify fraud or non-compliance with underwriting standards, document validity, and compliance with underwriting criteria.
  • Utilize audit methodologies to assess risk, evaluate controls, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop audit plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Continuously monitor and audit Watchlist Installers' credit applications and loan contracts.
  • Create summaries of audit results to present to leadership and partner installers of findings.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Operations teams to identify and remediate risk concerns.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, construction management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in auditing with a focus on financial services clients.
  • Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, including risk assessment and control evaluation.
  • Familiarity with consumer/banking regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with the solar industry and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, SalesForce, Tableau, and Adobe.
