DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL INNOVATION

SUMMARY
The Director of Digital Innovation will be responsible for all the software related activities by screening, evaluating, selecting, negotiating, purchasing, managing the best available software and tools for the companies such as, but not limited to, Procore, Salesforce, etc. Additionally, the Director of Digital Innovation will lead the efforts on data analytics and utilization based on the internal data pool through proper platforms and advanced analytics tools to better support the business visibility and decision making. This position reports to the Head of Process Innovation, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is based out of the Houston, TX office and will be on site daily. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 30% of the time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Digital Products
- Lead efforts to identify opportunities to standardize key business software systems across all GES businesses (Procore, Salesforce, Engineering tools (Autocad, PVSyst, etc.), support SAP)
- Support technical implementation through co-ordination with business process owners and third-parties (as needed)
- Create shared knowledge base where possible for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Leverage collective buying power of GES team to identify opportunities for SSA to reduce unit cost of licenses/systems
- Support integrations between platforms as needed (Procore-SAP for example)
- Manage internal team to support/manage central admin of these systems and/or coordinate with business unit admins
- Empower business unit ownership of tools by reducing dependence on third parties for admin functions
- Operational Analytics
- Promote opportunities for strategic and tactical reporting both native in platform and through advanced BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Consider opportunities for improvement including, but not limited to: data warehousing, ETL tools, machine learning
- IT
- Provide support and guidance on best practices for IT and towards creation of centralized GES IT department (Standard File Storage/Sharing, Azure Active Directory, SSO, Standard Laptop Configurations, Wiki)
Expected Major Functions
- Support Procore implementation across Utility and GES business units
- Support Procore-SAP integration
- Identify opportunities for bulk software licensing across business units
- Support efforts to adopt a CRM for utility business and align with GES
- IT Strategy
- Establish opportunities for improvement (see above)
- Salesforce architecture / direct admin support (add users, configure fields)
- Procore direct admin support (adding users, configuring permission sets, maintaining WBS)
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of experience or equivalent in information technology or SW related system optimization/operation
- Experience with project management or CRM software tool (ex, Procore, Salesforce etc) would be a strong plus
- Renewable energy experience preferred
- The ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and implementation and facilitation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills required
- Assertive, ability to cope with dynamic surroundings
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, SAP, Excel, and other analytical systems
- Willingness to travel, at least 30% of the time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player
- BS in electrical, industrial, or system engineering
- MS in above disciplines preferred.
