SUMMARY

The Process Technician Trainers are responsible in supervising the performance of training activities to the new trainees and training technicians to be able to perform job safely and effectively. Also, a trainer performs any activity that is intended to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of technicians in production line. Managing each technician’s training status and developing effective training methods and programs for different technicians. Hence, a trainer must have deep knowledge and experience in the process and react to the new process flexibly.


RESPONSIBILITES

As a process technician trainer, trainer’s role would involve training and educating new and existing process technicians on the proper techniques, procedures, and safety protocols involved in the manufacturing or production process. Here is an overview of what the job might entail:

  • Assessing training needs process technicians involving evaluations for their knowledge, skills, and experience levels to identify areas of improvement.
  • Developing Training Materials and curriculums that are engaging, informative, and easy to understand including presentations, manuals, interactive modules, videos, or any other type of training material.
  • Delivering Training Sessions to technicians involving classroom-style instruction, hands-on training, or a combination of both and ensure training sessions are well-organized, effective, and engaging.
  • Assessing Trainee Performance to determine whether they are learning and retaining the material by utilizing quizzes, tests, or practical assessments to gauge their knowledge and skill levels.
  • Providing Feedback and Support for improvement of technicians involving offering additional instruction, providing one-on-one coaching, or answering questions and concerns.
  • Monitoring and Evaluating Training Effectiveness to ensure that it is meeting the needs of the technicians and the company by gathering feedback from trainees and analyze performance data to make any necessary adjustments to the training program.
  • Having competence to work as Lead technician, so that trainers should perform job that is equivalent to lead technician’s performance when it is required.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Having at least 12 months experience in Q Cells Process Department
  • Retaining Advanced tier level as Qcells Process Technician.
  • Able to work in according shift.
  • Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the shift
  • Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Power point)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing position in a continuous operation.
