SUMMARY
The Equipment supervisor is responsible for all machine related issues that happen on shift. They are responsible for managing leads and techs and that all tasks are being completed properly and safely.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct leads on the issues that need to be addressed during the shift/follow up to insure they are being done
Handle all attendance issues
Work with the trainer to ensure techs are getting the proper training
Work hand and hand with production supervisor to ensure all production goals are being meet daily.
Ensure LOTO is being followed by technicians and that techs are wearing proper PPE
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+3 years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine parts
Minimum level 4 tier level
Experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced work environment
Experience with factory automation (robotics, conveyor, servo-controlled systems)
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance process
Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
Excellent time management skills and execute all orders and/or demands in a timely manner
Ability to handle basic tools
Self-starter and ability to be effective and productive with little supervision
Great communication skills including verbal and written
Strong knowledge of safety precautions and procedures
Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player
Ability to use Microsoft office, word, and PowerPoint
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
