Cleaving

Reports to: Line Supervisor

Location: Dalton, GA

Classification: Hourly


SUMMARY

The production cleaving operator works in a manufacturing environment and is responsible for producing and packaging a quality product while completing all assigned duties. The cleaving operator cleans and maintains assigned equipment. Ensuring they are following all safety and other regulatory/plant policies and procedures. The production cleaving operator strives to achieve operational excellence in areas of safety, quality and productivity.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates assigned equipment while producing quality product.
  • Ensures timely and accurate defect and production tracking
  • Reports safety and maintenance issues to line supervisor.
  • Completes and stores all required documents.
  • Achieves production goals (KPIs) and communicates bridge for under performance.
  • Ensures assigned equipment is cleaned according to documented procedure, and report deficiencies to line supervisor.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
  • Able to cope with pressure, a team player


PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

  • Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
  • Able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours
