SUMMARY
Hanwha Qcells is looking for a Technical Planning Manager who will play a key role in strengthening Qcells’ technology and product competitiveness in the U.S. market. This position requires an experienced professional who can independently manage strategic projects, provide guidance to junior team members, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on analyzing U.S. PV industry trends, identifying technology opportunities, and contributing to the development of technology and product roadmaps.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and execute independent projects related to technology and product strategy for U.S. manufacturing.
  • Collect and analyze U.S. PV industry trends, competitor technologies, and market intelligence.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance product competitiveness and technology roadmap.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Biz Units, CTO, HQ, Manufacturing) and external partners to align strategies.
  • Mentor and advise junior team members to ensure effective team mission execution.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations for senior management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field.
  • 7–8+ years in PV industry or related technical/manufacturing field (product planning, technology planning, or business development).
  • Proven ability to manage independent projects and provide leadership within a team environment.
  • Experience in market research, technology intelligence, or product competitiveness analysis preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of PV technologies and U.S. solar market trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • English proficiency required; Korean language skills preferred but not mandatory.
