QCELLS, America's leading solar hub operator, is proud to offer unparalleled experience in solar panel manufacturing operations and managerial accounting through its Cartersville Operations Planning Team. As a Production Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing production key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also conduct cost variance analysis, manage capital expenditures (CAPEX) and devise strategies to enhance overall manufacturing performance. As a Production Management Specialist, you will be at the forefront of managing the company's manufacturing objectives, gaining hands-on experience in deriving actionable insights from datasets, and making data-driven decisions and plans. You will develop a profound understanding of the manufacturing business operation and cultivate comprehensive knowledge of the entire solar power value chain, from ingot to module. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage supply and demand coordination across Ingot, Wafer, Cell, and Module (I/W/C/M) factories, supporting balanced production planning between sites.
  • Review and incorporate production plans created by each production team, providing analysis and recommendations to ensure alignment between sections.
  • Monitor progress of key performance indicators (KPIs) and track daily/monthly performance against targets.
  • Support raw material supply planning by working closely with Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery to production lines.
  • Provide oversight on overhead budget performance for each production line (I/W/C/M) and support variance analysis.
  • Manage major production schedules and timelines, including key factory projects such as line retrofits and ramp-up milestones.
  • Identify and report issues related to production imbalances, material shortages, or schedule risks, and propose corrective actions.
  • Evaluate cost-saving opportunities and assess the impact of new technologies, automation solutions, and digital tools on manufacturing efficiency.
  • Resolve daily operational issues related to cost, materials, and scheduling.
  • Generate dashboards and reports for management, summarizing production KPIs, material status, and financial performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and visualize data effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas and business modeling
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and organizational skills
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of managerial accounting and cost variance analysis
  • Proficiency in Korean, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Korean-speaking engineers
