SUMMARY

Supervise Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Technicians and their work, focusing on the efficient and effective management of electrical systems within the solar panel manufacturing facility. Lead and oversee the Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Department, guiding maintenance personnel to ensure the optimal functionality of critical systems. Establish and maintain SOP to guide the electrical and instrumentation part in their tasks and responsibilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with power suppliers, such as Georgia Power, to optimize electrical resources. Collaborate with equipment sub vendor. Have a strong understanding of PLC logic and facilitating necessary discussions with vendors for PLC and operational logic changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise Mechanical Part Technicians to ensure efficient work order assignments, meeting deadlines, and conducting training functions
  • Regularly report to Utility Team Leader on work progress and issues
  • Ensure the stable utility supply and management of Electrical and Instrumentation facilities, achieving operation targets in EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), Productivity, Quality, Reliability, and Availability
  • Monitor and improve the operational performance of electrical and instrumentation facilities, conducting daily, weekly, and monthly management of performance (cost and quality)
  • Supervise day-to-day/routine preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation facilities
  • Ensure that all preventative maintenance on Electrical and instrumentation facilities is performed according to the established schedule and SOP
  • Oversee budget formulation for electrical and instrumentation facilities operations, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources
  • Monitor and Implement cost-saving activities to achieve KPI targets
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive spare part management system
  • Ensure availability of critical spare parts to minimize downtime
  • Respond to plant emergencies related to environmental failures, fires, or security issues
  • Deliver training and maintain the training record of Electrical Technicians
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations of Hanwha QCELLS
  • Develop and execute safety measures related to the operation and maintenance
  • All other duties as assigned by Utility team leader

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a similar manufacturing or related industry
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of technicians
  • Proficient in Electrical systems and utilities within a similar industry
  • Relevant certifications are preferred
