Please note this role is in Cartersville, GA, 5 days a week onsite. Relocation is available as needed.


Role Summary:

The Trade and Customs Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing corporate processes and procedures and ensuring Qcells compliance with customs and trade laws and internal procedures.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal compliance procedures and policies and ensure adherence.
  • Oversee Qcells compliance with customs and trade laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Stays abreast of legal and corporate requirements in customs, trade, etc.
  • Acts as a contact person and liaison and manages information flow between outside counsel, Dalton staff, and management.
  • Report Qcells compliance with customs and trade laws and regulations to management.
  • Train and educate staff and stakeholders regarding legal and corporate requirements and updates.
  • Trade: Develop customs compliance procedures and ensure compliance
  • Manage and communicate with Customs brokers. Ensure adherence with Broker SOPs
  • Maintain tariff classification database
  • Assist with value and origin assessments
  • Conduct post entry audits of Customs entries
  • Manage retention of import records
  • Liaise with Qcells legal and management teams
  • Understand internal ERP systems.
  • Audit compliance with policies and laws.

Education and Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or other relevant area
  • 8-10 years compliance or risk management experience in customs and trade law
  • Subject matter expert in Global Trade Compliance, Customs Broker License preferred
