Base Pay Range

$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Description

Qcells is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Mobile Residential Applications team. You will play a key role in building the nextgeneration mobile experience for solar homeowners and installers, including developing native iOS features for onsite solar system commissioning, realtime telemetry, and homeowner engagement. Youll collaborate with mobile engineers, backend teams, product managers, designers, and hardware engineers to deliver a seamless, scalable, and intuitive mobile experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and launch intuitive and reliable mobile apps for Qcells core partners and customers
  • Learn the domain concepts in the solar software ecosystem to influence important design decisions and contribute to making tomorrow greener
  • Lead architecture design discussions and drive decisions
  • Promote and develop best practices to keep the quality and performance bar high
  • Collaborate with likeminded engineers across time zones and cultures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in native iOS development using modern programming languages such as Swift
  • Deep understanding of mobile architecture, offline strategy, design systems, and data visualization
  • Strong leadership in driving crossteam communications and collaboration
  • Experience in working across remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solar industry experience (renewable)
  • Direct experience in connected devices or field services

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the jobs minimum qualifications.
