Responsibilities: 

 

Job Summary  

We are seeking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team working on energy transition aspects within the Sustainability Transformation (Climate and Energy) practice of PwC, India.  

The team works primarily with leading private players operating in or transitioning to renewable space (IPPs, PSUs, RE Platforms, Large Industries, Manufacturers, RE asset management companies etc.)  

The candidate is expected to solve important problems of these corporates in the cleantech space and should be familiar with / have relevant experience of working in any of the technologies below (incl. OEMs):  

  • Renewables  
  • Green Hydrogen and derivatives  
  • Biofuels  
  • Carbon capture  
  • Nuclear  
  • Energy storage technologies  

 

Any implementation and/or operational improvement experience on any of the above technologies will be valued.  

This position is for a full-time role as a manager, based out of Mumbai and involves working from office. The candidate shall be willing to travel and be open to working from client locations, if needed.  

 

Key responsibilities  

Project management Ensure seamless completion of internal evaluation (Risk and Quality) for new and ongoing projects  

Develop a structured implementation plan for timely completion of the projects  

Ensure the projects are executed as per plan  

Maintain internal KPIs on projects (e.g. margins, expenses, invoice and payment management)  

Team management & compliances Lead and manage the project team, provide guidance and support to ensure outcome within defined timelines  

Plan for capacity building for the team and proactively contribute to knowledge management activities  

Delegate tasks effectively to provide opportunities and coaching to the team members  

Ensure that all required internal compliances are effectively managed through a team.  

Business development Identify and develop new business opportunities  

Aid in conversion of opportunities through conversations, presentations and proposals  

Client relationship management Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure long-term associations  

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and aid/facilitate cross-sell  

Good communication and interpersonal skills  

Good presentation capabilities and report writing skills  

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities  

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
