About the role

We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to help build our project pipeline by identifying and connecting with potential feedstock suppliers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Conduct outbound lead generation, cold calls and respond to inbound inquiries to generate leads with determination to stay on track and follow up routinely with prospective customers.
  • Coordinate and participate in introductory meetings between feedstock suppliers and the Sales Team.
  • Continuously update knowledge of company products and services to effectively address customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Sales Team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in sales training and continuous development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in the wastewater industry is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct sales or similar position.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $120,000 to $135,000 depending on relevant experience. .
  • Eligible for bonus & Company equity plan

  • Expense reimbursement for work-related travel

Location & Travel

  • Remote within the US, preferably in the Midwest or southeastern US.
  • Typical travel ~25%, up to 50% travel in a given month.
