Role summary

We need a creative, data-minded Marketing Manager intern to lead our social presence (LinkedIn, Instagram), help run targeted outreach campaigns, and produce short-form content that translates technical work into donor- and client-friendly narratives.

What you’ll do

  • Own content calendar and posting cadence for LinkedIn + Instagram.
  • Draft and schedule posts, short articles, and campaign assets.
  • Create outreach email templates, one-pagers, and brief slide content for partners.
  • Monitor social analytics; test content types and report on performance.
  • Support Mailchimp newsletters and audience segmentation if/when used.
  • Work with our Account Executive intern to amplify outreach campaigns.

Success looks like

  • Clear, consistent posting cadence and higher engagement (likes, inbound messages).
  • Two short case-study style posts per month that drive partner conversations.
  • A small but growing audience of targeted stakeholders and measurable leads.

Who you are

  • 1–3 years experience in social media, content, or marketing internships; portfolio preferred.
  • Excellent writing chops — can make technical topics clear and compelling.
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn best practices and simple graphic tools (Canva, Figma basic).
  • Data-driven: uses simple metrics to iterate.
  • Passion for sustainability, climate tech, and nonprofit impact.

Why join

  • Hands-on ownership of Puro Climate’s public voice and outreach toolkit.
  • Learn how to translate technical sustainability work into client/donor-ready messaging.
  • Mentoring from founders with strong sector networks.
  • Flexible hours — remote-friendly; NY-based preferred.
